MICHAEL
RAMOVA
I've been a filmmaker for 14 years now directing, producing, and writing films that bring art back to the small screen. My greatest influences are Sergio Leone, Lucio Fulci, Ismael Rodriguez and Martin Scorsese. I grew up enjoying He-Man, Thundar, Dawn Of The Dead, Taxi Driver, and Star Wars. My work is a result of my exposure to the gritty exploitations of the 70s and the over the top creativity of the 80s.
I studied film and art at Loyola University and Columbia College. I took an internship with Televisa S.A. and Azteca TV in Mexico City, and eventually moved back to Chicago and joined Sobera Studios in 2009 as Creative Director.
